“I am passionate about helping children feel safe and at ease while having fun at the dentist. I hope to make a positive impact on the lives of the children and families I have the privilege of serving.”
Passion
Dr. Marissa Carvalho always knew she wanted to work with children. She shadowed a pediatric surgeon at the beginning of her career and fell in love. Seeing a need for compassionate, specialized dental care tailored to children, she decided to open Coconut Smiles. She created a place that children are excited to visit and feel safe, fear-free, and valued.
Education
Trust is the core of what we do. We educate and empower you to make the best decisions for your child because that’s what we’d want for our own child.
Home Life
In her spare time, Dr. Marissa loves spending time with her husband, Morgan, their two children, Layla and Walker, and their dog, Kena. She also enjoys saltwater aquariums, playing tennis, and traveling.
